Jakarta (ANTARA News) The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs hold leading telecom handset manufacturer, Nokia, HP technician training held as an effort to reduce rising unemployment due to mass layoffs. "We try to give an HP technician training in collaboration with leading vendors Nokia," said Deputy Human Resources Development Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Neddy Rafinaldi Halim, here on Tuesday.
This was done as a response to address the increasingly swelling unemployment due to layoffs (Termination of Employment) mass as a global crisis. Training provided for the young generation who have a strong interest in the development of information technology, especially gadgets like mobile phones and handsets. "In overseas phone functions can be used optimally, these quite different in our country where mobile phones often have only advanced because to increase the prestige," he said.
According to him, there is a gap that occurs between human resources in Indonesia and abroad in relation to the control features and functions available on mobile phones. Therefore, it is necessary to implement special training to improve the mastery of technology, especially mobile telecommunication gadgets.
He said he expects other than to use the features offered in an optimal mobile phones, the potential human resources in the country is also expected to understand the mechanism of the device so that information technology can be a separate opportunity to open a business.
